Women's Stetson Cam Boots Round Toe Handmade Brown

I like how tall these are, and with a low heel, they are pretty comfortable for a western boot. The oval toe is more comfortable than the square, snip or pointed toe on western boots. The leather is soft (almost like a "spongy leather fabric") and they are lined with leather. There is good foot support. I wear 8.5 and they fit 8.5 perfectly so they are true to size. A little snug in the toes at first, but wearing them softened them up. The heels are thankfully rubber and non slip, and the soles are less slippery than most Stetson boots, while not rubber, but I still have to watch it on linoleum floors for a while. The front part comes right up to the middle of my knee cap (I am 5/4") and the back does not interfere with the back of my knee. I would have liked them to be an inch or two taller to go right over my knee cap, as coming to the middle of my knee cap looks awkward with skirts, dresses or shorts. But I still like the height on these and the overall look and fit. They fit slim to the calf, on my 13.5" calves, with enough room to tuck in skinny jeans and a little room to spare, so these would not fit larger calves very well, I am sorry to report. Overall, very nice looking boots! Could be a little taller as stated, b/c coming to the middle of the knee looks a little awkward, so I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, but they still look good.
