Good boots with some flaws

These were solid boots overall but had some issues with the front vamp on both boots. The caiman had several places that looked like they used some kind of paintable glue to piece it together or cover up a gap or crack which suggests poor material to begin with. One of the boots’ caiman did not have enough material to finish toward the front of the snip toe so it stops just before it wraps in under toe box. These are things that can’t be seen if just a quick look from a distance but it makes it hard to really be satisfied after close inspection especially at the price point and being Made in Mexico.
